Sadie Yoon is a fine jewelry brand based in Western North Carolina and New York City. Every piece is hand-forged in her mountain studio using precious metals and gemstones. Sometimes intricate and detailed, sometimes bold and minimalistic, every piece from her collection is unique in some way, often displaying marks from the hand-crafted process used to shape it.
Playing off the juxtaposition between timelessness and whimsy, both represented in the jewelry, we created a brand identity that was clean and timeless, but with an undercurrent of romantic sentimentality. Inspired by dojang (도장), the ancient Korean seal stamp, we designed a monogram logo mark used to stamp each piece of jewelry. We also created a custom textile pattern, using distorted photographs of anthurium florals. This was applied to packaging materials and the wallpaper of the showroom, providing unexpected moments of delight.
